About Azrina
I am a mother. A deliriously happy mother to a deliriously happy children too. Aliya who is 11, Ayisha at 9 yo, Adani who is 6yo and the youngest, the most mischievous of the lot, Ariz, the only hero at 4 yo.
As you can see, Ariz weaned himself off at 4 years and 2 months old and it was bittersweet. I wanted him to wean off by himself and when he finally did it, I was sad.
You see, I seriously love breastfeeding. There’s something magical about bein the sole provider of nutrition to that little bundle of joy. There’s something completely ethereal about the way a baby looks longingly into your eyes while he suckles and gulps and the way he falls asleep, completely full from the your breastmilk.
I’ve been breastfeeding for about 9 years, almost non-stop and I’ve learnt a thing or two about breastfeeding, about hand-expression technique and it’s a sad thing if that only remains with me.
I want to share what’s magical and what’s absolutely miraculous thing breastfeeding has been for me.
So that’s what the blog is about.
I wish that I could benefit the society and make awareness to breastfeeding larger and I do wish for more babies to be breastfed.
Insyallah.
Love Azrina
